We like this little motel...same features different set up than first room when we were hear earlier..clean, close to beach and the owner seems like a good guy...Arrived Feb 28th

Sat. Feb. 28th..hard to believe that we've been gone until practically March and will leave here the 14th to come back and face the colder music... but it'll be spring a week after we return so won't have to wait long for the weather to improve in WV.

Sunday..went to beach... all is well weather wise but ACB seems to have picked up some of my cold..hopefully the sun and sea air will help.

Monday...March 2nd...beautiful day... have been on the pier.

This may look like a repeat... it is kinda..just don't get tired of this view...Like to go up before ACB gets motivated and watch them fish...some guy caught a Spanish Mackerel..nice fish....Looking south, of course. Off the beach about 4...ACB still fighting cough and congestion...hopefully will be better tomorrow.

Tuesday March 3rd... another beauty...ACB feeling some better...and better as the day went on. I went up to the pier as is my norm and watched some guy catch a nice Spanish Mackerel.

They are migrating now and this is the second one I've seen. After we finally got to the beach at noon we stayed until about 5..not to hot with nice breeze..near perfect..went to pier for a walk but not out on...just a nice day.

Went to a place I saw on trip advisor for dinner....stating the number one in Hollywood... think it was a set up... food was excellent but basically a stir fry on the side and a round piece of bread cut in half..no way you could eat around it... flavor great but not enough for the price...live and learn...http://www.j28sandwichbar.com/

Wed. March 4... another like the other... told Annette we must be doing something illegal to be having so much fun! Walked out on pier with her this am and watched them fish for a while...back to room and out to the beach 1-4pm...went to a burger joint that was supposed to be the number 4 place to eat in Fort Lauderdale... it just might be in the burger category http://gilberts17thstgrill.com/. Came home and walked out on the pier again.. beautiful nite and nearly full moon glistening on water .

Thursday March 5th...another beautiful day..need to get dressed and get out the door..ACB just out of bed at 9 AM with first cup of coffee...neighbor posted pic of house from last nite..may need to stay another week if this stuff doesn't go away!

Looks nasty back home... think we'll definitely stay a few more days.

Didn't do much today...3.12.2015...went to Pollo Tropical for dinner then to Jaxsons for ice cream...

Today, March 13 2015 we got out of bed to see the sunrise.. beautiful as anticipated...hate to leave but we've had the best two months of our lives (excluding time with the kids). Too windy for beach so after we walked got our clothes and supplies ready... then took car close to Hollywood Beach and walked the broadwalk a couple miles or so. Would be a good place to go in the fall since prices are extremely reasonable and lots to do.
