Chokoloskee island with the Ellers...Jan 25th until afternoon Jan.26th.

Made it to Ron and Janies early afternoon on Sun. 25th... went out on their boat and came back to good dinner of stone crab and shrimp. Good time with them and stayed until about 7 or so...spent the night at Immokalee Inn in town of same name...not such a swift place but all available in the area... about an hour away. Went back down to the island the next day and toured Smallwoods store... a museum today that was built in 1906 on Chokoloskee Island. Was extremely interesting... if go back next year will probably go back to see what we missed. After an hour or so there went to lunch at a Cuban restaurant that the Ellers' like. Janie and Ron then took us to Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park ...lots of interesting sites along the boardwalk. After viewing and making our good byes left about 2 and headed to our next destination... White Horse Hotel in Lake worth Fl. Got here about 5pm
